Venture capitalists are backing founders in the Peru startup community. There has been a pick up in activity recently and next week Endeavor is organizing an event to discuss these trends.
According to PECAP, rounds of financing have been raised by BlazingDB, MiMediaManzana, RunaHR, TiendaPago and Xertica over the last two quarters. These startups have all touched our ecosystem in important ways.
BlazingDB is a U.S. startup led by Rodrigo Aramburu and Felipe Aramburu that has built a local development team in Lima. The startup raised money from Samsung and NVidia in late 2017.
Xertica is a cloud consulting company with clients across Latin America. Luis Arbulu, an Endeavor Entrepreneur, was instrumental in working combine three companies and attract investment from Dalus Capital (see below).
Next week on June 11th, Luis Arbulu and Diego Serebrisky of Dalus Capital will be in Lima at to discuss the investment at an event organized by Endeavor Peru at UTEC. You can purchase tickets here.
