For the third year in a row, a Peruvian founder is one of the six finalists for the annual WeXchange Pitch Competition.
Sully Siucho, co-founder of Rebajatuscuentas.com, will join five other female founders of startups across Latin America at WeXchange 2019 in Paraguay on November 13th and 14th. WeXchange is an event run by BID Lab.
Members of Peru’s startup community have been involved in organizing and judging throughout the selection process. WeXchange Pitch Competition coordinator Elizabeth Acuña has had the support of 64 judges, including 20 based in Peru.
In previous years, Peruvian founders Ximena Adriazola of Bio Natural Solutions, Amparo Nalvarte of Culqi were finalists. This year, Sully will travel to Asunción to present her pitch at the finals. Sully has written for Ruta Startup about her experience at the 500 Startups program in Mexico (La lección más importante en la primera semana en 500 startups) and a great overview of venture capital (¿Cómo funciona el Venture Capital?). Rebajatuscuentas.com has been accelerated by UTEC Ventures in Lima.
