Peru Climate Finance Mapping

Peru’s climate finance moment has arrived. 🇵🇪🌱🌎

The country’s natural resources and biodiversity make it an important destination for capital dedicated to taking care of our planet.

The local ecosystem to support entrepreneurs is in place. Various programs are offering investment and value-add support to entrepreneurs. These include: EBBF Amazonia (Kurt Rothschild, Stefanie Delgado), Climate Finance Accelerator (CFA) Libélula (Natalie Rona, Alberto Cuba), NESsT (Diana Alejandra Ramirez, Mauricio Verkooijen), Alianza Empresarial por la Amoniza (Willy Espinoza, Christian Ruiz), Incubagraria , Hub Udep (Carlos Rodrich), among others.

Government initiatives from MINAM (Jesus Valverde) and PRODUCE as well was organizations like Profonanpe (Anton Willems, Claudia Godfrey) and Aliados de Impacto-NAB Perú (Marisela Vega) are congregating stakeholders and leading the dialogue for best practicas in impact investing.

There is also strong international presence from global NGOs The Nature Conservancy, Conservation International, and WWF Perú.
