PECAP connects venture capital investors with startup founders

On October 16th, PECAP, the Peruvian Seed and Venture Capital Association held a workshop at the Peru Venture Capital Conference. The session included participation from LAVCA, the Association for Private Capital Investment in Latin America, and Porto Legal, a leading law firm for startups and investors in Peru.

Miguel Algarín, Senior Research Analyst at LAVCA spoke of venture capital tendencies in the region and gave a run down of recent investments in Peru startups. José Miguel Porto, Senior Partner at Porto Legal discussed issues investors should consider when investing in Peru.

PECAP used the session to invite startups raising seed stage rounds met with venture capital funds, including INCA Ventures, KB Inversiones y Consultoría, The Board Perú, Wayra Perú, Winnipeg Capital, Agroinvest, and Angel Ventures, as well as local angel investors.
